You have never seen an LED fixture quite like this one. Our patent pending design offers a full 4ft x 4ft coverage area by using (4) 11"x 45" LED "panels" to completely cover the growing area with even illumination / lighting levels. This LED system comes complete with a remote / separate ballast which can be located up to 14 ft away from the LED panels to remove up to 30% of the heat generated by the LED system. (PERFECT FOR 4FT X 4FT GROW TENTS OR OTHER ENCLOSED AREAS WITH NO VENTILATION OR COOLING). NOT ALL LEDs ARE MADE THE SAME.

If you look at other competing LEDs, the size of the LED fixture itself are very small in footprint. They do a great job of focusing high levels of light directly under the LEDs, but any plants outside of that small "footprint" directly under the LEDs, do not get nearly the amount of light they need for vigorous growth. For those scientists out there, it is called the inverse square law of light. For every doubling of distance from the light source, there is a 4 times reduction in light levels.

Our modular LED panels are designed to evenly spread the light over a MUCH larger area providing even illumination levels over the entire lighted area. When you use our panels, your garden will have even light distribution.

That means better / healthier lighting for your plants instead of having a small "Hot-spot" directly under the LED fixture, and low lighting levels everywhere else as with all other types of compact LED fixtures. Don't be fooled by other's claims to Watts. Some LED companies do not give you an actual "wattage" output for their systems. They may claim replaces a 1000 watt HID with only 300 watts. That is simply not true. Other's will claim they have a 450 watt LED, but then they will also say "consumes only 195 watts of energy"... The best ANY LED can do right now for efficiency is about 88%. So if their unit "consumes" 195 watts, and it is 88% efficient, what they are actually offering is about a 171 watt LED. 88 efficiency = 171 watts What we claim on the LED output side of our panels is EXACTLY what we say it is. 100 watts for our single panel / fixed spectrum units and 650 watts for our 4-panel adjustable spectrum units. Look at the list of features that makes this LED a premium product. ThinkGrow 650-4 watt LED system is designed to replace older methods of lighting. The 650-4 has a FULLY ADJUSTABLE spectrum. The user can select their desired lighting spectrum adjusting 4 separate channels. Each channel is connected to a (color) of LED, 450nm, 650nm, 680nm, 730nm and 4500K. Wattage (40-650) can also adjusted in order to create the perfect levels for any stage of growth. In order to evenly distribute the light energy to all of the plants, our LED fixtures are designed to cover the entire area where plants will be growing.

Each 650 watt system consists of (4) individual 11 x 45 panels that can be joined together to cover a full 48x 48 area. (Recommend 1.5 spacing between panels to cover a full 48 x 48 area). The panels are thin and lightweight, less than 16 lbs per fixture. The panels are connected to the REMOTE ballast (power supply) using quick connect cables.

This removes the heat produced by the power supply from the growing area reducing heat load. Each standard LED system comes complete with the 650 watt LED power supply, (4) 11 x 45 LED panels and (4) LED low-volt cables that are 20 ft long.

Approximately 1/3 of the total system heat comes from the LED power supply. The cables run from the LED power supply to the LED panels. This allows the heat from the LED power supply to be physically located OUTSIDE of the growing area to reduce energy use (Lower heat load = lower cooling & electricity costs) Patent pending.

What makes our LEDs different? Unlike ALL OTHER COMPACT LED systems, our system is designed to cover your entire grow area 48x48 with an even and consistent light level over the entire coverage area. There is NO OTHER LED that completely covers the growing area without HOT-SPOTS. Those compact LEDS can emit up to 5 times the amount of light directly under the fixture, as compared to at the edge of the lighted area, greatly reducing their ACTUAL coverage areas. The Think-grow 650-4 allows the user to select 1 of 5 preset grow spectrums, or they can create their own. Each of the 4 channels of LED colors can be individually adjusted. The user can also reduce overall power by selecting between 40 and 650 watts of power. Even operating it at a full 650 watts, the LED can be used inside a grow tent with no additional ventilation required. Adjustable from 40 650 watts. In general, LEDs require roughly ½ to ¾ of the wattage that an HID or a florescent fixture needs in order to properly illuminate plants for rapid growth. So when shopping for LEDs, look for systems that offer about 50-75% of the wattage of what would be used if lighting with HID or florescent lights. LEDs are light emitting diodes. They are solid-state semi-conductor components that have a 10-year life expectancy. The amount of heat they produce is less than 1/3 of that from an equivalent Fluorescent fixture.
